ABOUT THE WINE
La Ferme du Mont in the Southern Rhône, owned and vinified by Stéphane Vedeau, boasts a mosaic of biodynamic vineyards. A former soccer player, Stéphane transitioned to winemaking in 1989, spending 15 years in the Languedoc before moving to the Rhône Valley in 2000. His wines, praised by critics like Robert Parker, are known for their freshness and soul, utilizing native yeasts and biodynamic methods. The vineyards were certified Agriculture Biologique in 2014, and have been farmed biodynamically since 2011.
TASTING NOTES
A dark carmine red. Complex nose of Mediterranean spices and candied red fruit. Opulent, but also very fresh attack on the palate. Tight but very fine tannins from the middle attack to the finish in an elegant and persistent way. A long finish which maintains freshness until the end.
