7KD042 – Rum Cask – 47.6% 500ml 

Age: 4 years, 5 months entire maturation

Nose: Caramelised Pineapple immediately on the nose. Golden Syrup with pineapple again & grapefruit fruitiness. Candyfloss & juicy apples, with wet pencil shavings.

Palate: An intense, rich sweetness up first – Golden Syrup central, before the caramelised pineapple follows over from the nose. Shortly after, a candied orange & mandarin peel comes into play.

Finish: Short & sweet, with more of a maltiness showing up late. ‘Breakfast Juice’, as it came to be known at the Tassie Whisky Week Showcase.
