Rich on the nose, with aromas of yellow apple, wisteria and dusty white flowers. The palate is fresh, dry and savoury, with hints of wild herbs, more apple and tart citrus. Silky bubbles and flinty minerals on the finish, for a perfect balance. 

The Pozzobon brothers purchased the land outright from the Venetian state – or ‘from under the watchful eye of the Lion of Saint Mark’ as they put it – in the 1700s. They were among the very first in the area to drastically reduce the use of chemicals in the vineyard, starting as early as in the 1980s, making it a point to listen to the needs of the vineyard.
