This is an Albariño but not as you know it! Entre Os Ríos, a family-owned winery on the south-west coast of Galicia, create aromatic, textured examples of this classic variety that are utterly brimming with character. It has a great structure and volume, clean and tasty thanks to the good acidity. On palate crisp with grassy notes, quince, baked apple, orange peel, sweet cinnamon spice and acacia blossom.
KomoKabras is a slang term for someone who’s a bit bonkers, the Komokabras wines are the result of experiments by winemaker José Cruzat with different vessels and winemaking techniques. A single varietal of Albariño that macerates for 5 weeks with its skins and is aged for 10 months in 300-litre clay jars.
