ORGANIC / NATURAL / VEGAN
Like drinking Portugal in a bottle. Smooth and refreshing, with fruity and spicy aromas on the nose, along with a subtle mineral note. Light on the palate, with flavors of cherries, grapefruit, and a touch of spice. This wine stands out for its vibrant acidity and well-balanced structure. Fermented with native yeasts and aged for 10 months on its fine lees. It drinks beautifully now but we expect it to evolve even better in the next 2-3 years.
Tiago Teles returned to his roots in the Bairrada region after years of exploring various terroirs across Portugal. In 2012, he set out to fulfill his dream and, after a long search for the perfect vineyard, he and his father began cultivating small hillside plots in São Mateus.
For Tiago, the choice of grape varieties has always been secondary; they should serve the wine, not dictate it. Guided by this philosophy, he vinifies the grapes with a low intervention approach, opting for spontaneous fermentations and only adding minimal sulphurs to reserve the smooth texture and the dynamic energy of the wine.
